- Bird Rock is known for its elevated cliffside homes with unobstructive ocean views, rather than its sandy beach access. Depending on tide levels, there are two public beach access points within a mile from our home- Camino De La Costa Beach and Bird Rock Waterfront. Both have public stairs leading to the beach. Both beaches are rocky and accessibility is strictly dependent on tide levels. The closest family friendly sandy beach is Tourmaline Beach, 1 mile south from our home.

This home is located in Bird Rock, a prestigious La Jolla neighborhood. Bird Rock is directly south of La Jolla village in San Diego. Explore the charming village of nearby La Jolla- with a great selection of restaurants, enchanting coves, and a spectacular 1-mile clifftop walk. Windansea offers private beach access from backyard to oceanfront. Windansea is a short drive to Sea World, and a half hour to The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, San Diego International Airport (SAN), and downtown San Diego.
Attention:
This rental is located in a high-density neighborhood with strict house rules and is only suitable for quieter groups. Owners live nearby! No tolerance policy exists for excessive noise, occupancy, parties, smoking, or pets. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting.
