  • When will I receive my Check-in Details?

    Check-in instructions will be sent to your email and phone number on file 7 days prior to your arrival date. Be sure to check any spam or junk folders if you did not receive the check-in instructions email from hello@driftvh.wpenginepowered.com. Text messages will arrive from 858-533-2838 (please save this number to your contacts). To ensure your home is properly cleaned and prepared for your arrival, check-in time is at 4:00pm.

  • What time is Check-Out?

    To ensure that our team can adequately prepare the home for the next guest, check-out is at 10:00 AM.

  • Who do I contact if I have issues during check-in?

    If you run into any issues during your check-in, respond to the existing text messages for the fastest service. In the event this is an emergency, you may call 858-997-1230.

  • What should I do if I experience an issue during my stay?

    If something in your home is missing, not working, or not what you expected, contact our team by replying to our text messages from 858-533-2838 and we will work with our team to resolve any issues in a timely manner.

  • What do I need to do before checking out?

    At the time of check-out, all you need to do is start a load of beach towels in the laundry, run the dirty dishes in the dishwasher, turn off the lights, HVAC, and fans, and lock the door behind you.

  • Why has the pricing changed on a listing I’m interested in?
    Why are my desired dates priced differently than other dates?

    Pricing and nightly rates fluctuate based on season and demand, similar to airline pricing.

  • Who can I contact for questions about my reservation?

  • Can I split my payment on multiple cards?

    Unfortunately, we can only take payment from the primary guest due to fraud issues.

  • How do I cancel a reservation?

    Most homes require a 30-day notice of cancellation prior to the check-in date for a full refund, and many reservations are non-cancellable within 14 days of the scheduled check-in date. To learn more about your home’s specific cancellation & refund policies, refer to your rental contract.

  • Where can I find the cancellation policy for my reservation?

    We offer flexible cancellation policies. If you have already booked with us, please refer to your rental contract for specific cancellation policies.

  • When will I receive my refund?

    Refunds generally show up in your account within 7-14 business days from the time of cancellation. Please note that this is contingent on your banking institution.

  • What should I do if I lost something during my stay?

    If you or a guest in your party left something behind at one of our homes, please text us at 858-533-2838.
